Working together to inform about progress in combatting youth unemployment
The official launch of the Youth Employment Magazine is announced on the UN International Day of Friendship. Nearly 200 institutions from 26 European countries implementing projects financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway unite to share results of their initiatives aimed at combatting youth unemployment in Europe.
Barcelona hosts a new workshop of the Young Entrepreneurs Succeed program
Autoocupació, the project partner from Spain, has organized the third program workshop in Barcelona, Spain. During the meeting the partners have defined the paths that will help 1,600 young people to start & grow their own business or to find a job.
Our research study on the relationship between microfinance and the European Social fund has been published
We have been commissioned by the European Microfinance Network in order to investigate the role that microfinance can play in the achievements of the goals of the ESF: support the creation of jobs, improve working conditions and ensure fairer job opportunities for European citizens.
Conflict-affected and vulnerable Syrian people particularly women and youth have increased access to water, resilience and dignified lives in Syria and Lebanon
Our work continues on the subject of financial education and economic justice. A new project component in Lebanon has started: financial education sessions with Syrian refugees in the Beqaa region. The process will focus on savings groups in areas of protracted displacement.
