Promoting Alternative Paths for Fuel Retailers

The InFUELencer project is a strategic Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership (KA220-VET) designed to support fuel retail businesses in navigating the transition toward a carbon-neutral economy.

Our mission is to provide these businesses with the specialized knowledge, strategic tools, and green skills needed to ensure long-term viability.

The InFUELencer – Promoting Alternative Paths for Fuel Retailers project is an Erasmus+ project in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET), created to support service stations and fuel retail businesses in adapting to the European green transition.

The project aims to help the sector maintain its economic sustainability while developing innovative business models capable of responding to new environmental, technological, and market challenges. To achieve this goal, InFUELencer develops practical training materials and tailored learning pathways for VET trainers and professionals working in fuel retail companies, strengthening their skills, strategic capacities, and operational tools for a sustainable business transformation.

The main results of the project include:

  • A digital report presenting key research findings on the European fuel retail landscape, with a focus on sustainability challenges, skills gaps, and opportunities for business transformation.
  • A comprehensive training programme featuring thematic modules and training guides that address sustainability, business resilience, and the transition towards alternative fuels.
  • An interactive digital learning platform providing training content, introductory audiovisual resources, self-assessment features, and a tool to help identify training needs.
  • Train-the-trainer activities for project partner staff and VET trainers, alongside national pilot workshops involving the project’s target groups.
  • A set of dissemination materials and communication activities designed to promote the project’s results and support their wider uptake and transfer across Europe.
