The Microfinanza team in partnership with Tadbeer has recently started the field work for the implementation of the “Microfinance Impact Assessment in Afghanistan”. The project has been commissioned by the Microfinance Investment Support Facility for Afghanistan (MISFA) with the objective of determining the impact of microfinance interventions on the beneficiary households in Afghanistan.

The field work will assess the impact of microfinance interventions (general objective) and the results of the survey may guide MISFA and other stakeholders for future investments as well as for supporting future development programs.

The main findings of the impact assessment will guide and support policy makers and microfinance operators in improving the overall access to the finance environment and orient donors and partners in providing tailored support.
