ENS-TRAIN-NET 4: a new cycle of Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs begins

Starting in January 2027, ENS-TRAIN-NET 4 – Entrepreneurs Sharing and Training Network 4 will be launched. The new project, coordinated by Microfinanza, is part of the 16th cycle of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme.
The project builds on and strengthens the experience gained by Microfinanza and its partners during previous cycles of the European programme. Its objective is to support the creation and development of new entrepreneurial initiatives through international mobility, mentoring and the direct exchange of knowledge.
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs connects New Entrepreneurs – NEs, namely people who intend to start a business or who have recently established one, with Host Entrepreneurs – HEs, experienced entrepreneurs willing to share their skills, management practices and market knowledge. The exchanges offer a practical opportunity for on-the-job learning, while also helping participants build professional networks, business collaborations and long-lasting entrepreneurial relationships.
Microfinanza is pleased to coordinate an international partnership composed of nine organisations, with the aim of promoting the exchange of experience, skills and opportunities between new entrepreneurs and established businesses, while placing particular emphasis on inclusion and access to global markets.
A European network with a new global dimension
The consortium brings together Microfinanza and eight international partners: SELEGO (the Netherlands), CIVITTA UA (Ukraine), AEII – Asociación Educativa por la Integración y la Igualdad (Spain), KAINOTOMIA (Greece), BCCI – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Bulgaria), LECSA (Latvia), ZEYTIN (Türkiye) and ITC – Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (Spain).
The nine organisations will contribute complementary experience in business support, training, innovation, internationalisation and economic inclusion. Cooperation among partners operating in different entrepreneurial ecosystems will make it possible to reach aspiring entrepreneurs, start-ups, professionals and established businesses across a wide range of European territories.
One of the project’s main new features is the expansion of opportunities to selected global destinations. Microfinanza and ITC will also work to promote exchanges with the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Singapore. This international dimension will enable participants to engage with particularly dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems, explore new business models and develop relationships with potential international partners.
More accessible and inclusive entrepreneurship
ENS-TRAIN-NET 4 will place inclusion at the heart of its activities. Alongside the involvement of young people, women and people with a migrant background, the project will pay particular attention to young people from rural, inland and geographically isolated areas, where access to entrepreneurial networks, training and international opportunities may be more limited.
The objective is to make the programme accessible to people and communities that face greater barriers when seeking to transform an idea into a sustainable entrepreneurial project. Through tailored support, interaction with experienced entrepreneurs and access to international networks, participants will be able to strengthen their capacities, broaden their professional prospects and build more innovative, resilient and inclusive businesses.
Through ENS-TRAIN-NET 4, Microfinanza renews its commitment to supporting entrepreneurship that can generate economic and social opportunities by connecting territories, skills and people within Europe and beyond its borders.
