We have been commissioned by the European Microfinance Network  in order to investigate the role that microfinance can play in the achievements of the goals of the ESF: support the creation of jobs, improve working conditions and ensure fairer job opportunities for European citizens. We conducted five case studies of European MFIs participating in the programming period 2014-2020 and providing financial and non-financial services for the underserved EU population.
